Because we care ...

I am trying to write in english, since I saw that few visitor are come not come from Indonesia. On 29 Juni 2008, we have succesfully held the event on weskind plaats ( I do not know the english for, but in general, weskind plaats mean a place for children without parent). We choose Amanah van Weskind plaats because of some reasons:

1. They are an independent place
2. Besides study, the children are also working to fulfill their financial need

Our first plan, we want to give some cooking equipment and teach them how to make cookies. The purpose is, they can sell cookies for their income. But since they have ever have same event, so we move to plan B.

The plan B, we share school equipment and donate some money to financing their school tuition. It is because on July will be new year for school. The fund is come from member donation. The venue is not only to give donation and giving school equipment, but there is also a free medical check up and free vitamin and medicine. There is also a sharing event for high school student.

We are still need to evaluate this event and the evaluation meeting will be held on this month.
